I sat down with Lachine Mayor Maja Vodanovic to talk about her history as a politician and as an activist, and to discuss her bid to become the new leader of Projet Montreal. In 2016, in her role as a city councillor in Lachine she disagreed with the way urban planning and contaminated soils were managed in the Lachine-Est zone and left the party of Claude Dauphin. In January 2017, she joined Projet Montréal and announced she would be candidate for the position of borough mayor.
