Ecolibrium covers a wide array of environmental and social justice topics with a focus on featuring in-depth interviews with environmental activists, thinkers, innovators, authors, and researchers, many of whom are traditionally under-represented in the mainstream media.The host is Ryan Young who has a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University and who teaches radio production at John Abbott College. Ryan is also a city councillor in his hometown of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.

Michael Jemtrud is the Chair in Architecture, Energy, and Environment and an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at McGill University. He is a founding member of the DeCARB (DeCarbonizing Architecture and Building) Research Group at McGill University whose mission is to develop new concepts, methods, tools, and integrated solutions for the reduction of the Global Warming Potential of the full building environments process in transitioning to a clean energy, low-carbon future. We discuss his latest projects and how he became inspired to become an architect.
