Ryan is also a city councillor in his hometown of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.

He is a founding member of the DeCARB (DeCarbonizing Architecture and Building) Research Group at McGill University whose mission is to develop new concepts, methods, tools, and integrated solutions for the reduction of the Global Warming Potential of the full building environments process in transitioning to a clean energy, low-carbon future. We discuss his latest projects and how he became inspired to become an architect.

Jean-Martin Fortier is a well-known Quebec farmer and author. He co-founded Ferme Quatre Temps and Les Jardins De La Grelinette and runs an online course called The Market Gardener Master Class. He is the author of The Market Gardener and some other books in French including Le maraîchage nordique.
